A New Take on Hospice Care

At Sunflower Haven we view life a little differently. Based on the idea of a ranch style facility, the goal of Sunflower Haven will be to provide Hospice patients and their families in the Sioux Falls, South Dakota and surrounding regions with a rustic, ranch styled home like none other. We will provide around the clock care with around the clock care with partnerships from area hospice agencies to ensure all patient and family needs are met.

In addition, we will strive on volunteer support from the community. At Sunflower Haven we want everyone to feel at home, whether stopping for a few hours to visit, or staying in our facility as a patient or family member. Volunteers are the heart of our care and will work with our patients to individualize their time to match the goals of each patient they visit.

As many families in the Midwest know, farms are a core aspect of many individuals' lifestyles. At Sunflower Haven, we will have "the barn" consisting of a miniature horse, donkey, and goat for families and patients to view and admire while on the property. We believe in the holistic style of care and know for many patients and families this involves adding a little country lifestyle to their care.
